All about Jude

Pets can be such a joy to have in our lives....especially when just having them around makes you a better person. I absolutely love my dog Jude, because she is really the perfect pet for a person to have. We bought her at only 7 weeks old for $80 from a friend at work a couple of years ago, and it was probably the best investment around here in a long time. She brings happiness to everyone that comes in contact with her, and is certainly well-trained, too...Of course I trained her, and this was possible by spending countless hours teaching her all kinds of commands and what certain words meant, too. I am her master, and the only person that has full control of her actions - but i'm also her best friend..... I let her out to play everyday - regardless of what the weather is like, what time of day it is, and even when i'm not feeling well. I wish she could be allowed to roam free, but something bad would surely happen to her...
Anyway, these first 2 pics of her are from when she was just a few months old. Just look at the little stinker...Ain't she big stuff? Hehe..

Photo below - This one always makes me laugh, because she's nothing but ears at this age. Ha!

My good friend Jerry took a few action photos of her the other day, and I wanted to share them with you. They really show a different side of her stick/frisbee catching prowess, and I hope you enjoy them. Since i'm usually the one throwing objects for her to catch, pictures like these are impossible. So, while I was busy giving tours of the garden, Jerry was taking pics of Jude playing with other people. Thanks again, Jerry! I can't do enough for ya! Hehe...

Photo below - Can you tell she's excited to have company to play with? Man, she sure did have a good time with Jacob....I think she's smiling - see her tongue almost wrapped around her head?

Photo below - with tongue hanging out, Jude took a few minutes to catch her breath. See the red marks on her tongue? Those are from her deciding that the weedeater was an enemy the other day. Hehe...Crazy dog, i'll have to keep her put up while doing this from now on.....

Photo below - Just look at that concentration. Anything thrown into the air is hers - in this case, a frisbee. I just love this picture! Maybe I should think about entering her into some kind of frisbee catching competition?

Photo below - here's something you don't see everyday - full extension while trying to catch a stick that was thrown into the air. Now that summer has arrived, she's losing some of the weight that was gained over the winter. She certainly gets enough exercise!

She sure is a good girl, and i'm definitely lucky to have her. I know that many of you really enjoy her antics, and it gives me great pleasure to share them with you. I hope everyone has a great 4th of July holiday!

Take care, and spend time with your pet!

What an adorable puppy. She's just a loveable fur ball, isn't she. I'm so glad she likest to fetch and play catch. Our dog looks at us like, "Why'd ya do that for? That was a perfectly good stick. Now you have to go get it. Idiots."

Boy...what a great dog and great pics! I had a photo of my cat "Miss Banana" when she was all ears...I didn't think that she would ever grow in to them. I called it "The Flying Nun". I think that Jude was posing for that "full extension" shot...maybe she was hoping for "The Doggie Olympics"!!!

Jude is absolutely beautiful! She seems like just a happy dog. I bet it is difficult to be around her and not smile from her antics. Thanks for sharing her with us.

Fantastic photos! She really was all ears as a puppy! Those action shots are really fabulous! I always love reading about times when she gets in your truck and won't get out!

German Shepherds are so goofy. They're even goofier as puppies. When we got ours he still had floppy ears and looked like a little bear. Love the jumping pictures. Our GSD has never played with another GSD... I'm sure he'd like to play with a purty girl who barks with a Southern twang!

Ahhh, I just love hearing about folks that think their dog is the greatest. There's nothing like a happy dog to turn a bad day around.

And ahaha! Those ears! None of my dogs ever had those when they were small and young, but boy I wish they did because it's just so adorable!

Loved learning about Jude!

She always seems so happy when I see her in the background of your videos.

A border collie/healer mix adopted us a while back. I didn't want a dog... yet... at the time.

Missy is very good company and I love to walk her. She has worked her way into all our hearts.

Have a great week EG!
PS... we're getting our kitchen & pantry cabinets installed today!!! yahoo!!!

That photo of Jude looking at the camera when she was a puppy is just too precious. I really miss having a dog. Maybe someday I'll get another one.
